Now that we are properly into 2016-- let's take a peek at my December holiday in Tucson, Arizona!
As frequent readers may recall, my folks moved to Tucson last spring so I flew from Seattle to spend Christmas with them and my baby brother. While in Tucson, we did your standard holiday things like cooking delicious food, watching Scrooged, and playing games.
Aside from the usual holiday stuff we also went to the Pima Air and Space Museum since the only museums I can get my brother & dad to go to are military or vehicle-related. Despite most of the artifacts being either outside or in a less than heated hanger (and it was by no means warm in Arizona) it was great fun! Since my bro is an LT in the Air Force he told us all sorts of fun facts about the aircraft and mom remembered things from her dad's time as an aircraft mechanic.
Among the citrus trees and the Santa-hatted cacti a splendid holiday was had. I'm so fortunate to be able to spend time with my family, particularly my brother before he shipped out for his new post at Spagdahlem AFB in Germany.
And there, dear readers, is my holiday. Hope you had a blissfully relaxing holiday and are settling into 2016. Lot's of fun afoot at Betty-- keep up with it all on Pinterest, Instagram, and Twitter! As always, I love to see what you're up to so keep in touch with #bettybetatester.
